Please call us during regular office hours to make an appointment. Appointments can be made with any of our healthcare providers. When calling, please tell us the general reason for your visit so we will know how much time to allow for your appointment. We make every attempt possible to make appointments in a timely manner.
If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment please notify us as soon as possible. We will be glad to reschedule you at your convenience.
It is our policy to see patients by appointments first. Same day or "walk-in" patients are always welcome at our office and will be seen in order of arrival. Patients without an appointment may have a longer wait time. However, true emergencies will be seen immediately.
To save time please download and complete the pre visit form and bring it to your scheduled appointment.
All patients are required to check in at the "Self Service Kiosk" before being seen by providers in our office. You will need to scan your driver's license or photo ID, insurance information, and may pay by credit card at the kiosk. The kiosk will walk you through all of the questions needed for the staff to process and update your information. Please update all information requested so it reflects your current status. Once you complete check in at the kiosk please complete a Pre Visit form if you did not print one ahead of time and give to the nurse when she calls you back. The front staff will make every effort to register you in an expeditious manner.
Arrivals more than twenty minutes after the scheduled appointment will be seen as a "walk-in". If your healthcare provider of choice is unavailable at the time of your visit or if the wait time to see that provider is excessive, you are more than welcome to see any of our other providers.
Please download the following form and complete prior to check-in.
Please inform us at check-in if you are visiting us exclusively for laboratory tests. We will make every effort to minimize your wait time and bring you back to our phlebotomy area. An appointment should be made with your healthcare provider at check-out for review of your laboratory results.
We refill prescriptions only during office hours. Bring your medication bottles on every visit to the office so that refills can be accurately made. For your convenience, we will either give you prescriptions at the time of your visit, fax prescriptions, or e-prescribe prescriptions.
Patients are required to see healthcare providers on a regular basis in order to qualify for medication refills. Patients who are unable to keep scheduled appointments may be granted a refill for a limited supply of medication. Failure to keep appointments after this may result in denial of additional refill requests.
Controlled substances will not be refilled over the phone or through the pharmacy. Prescriptions cannot be picked up at the front window. It is our policy that all prescriptions for controlled substances can only be refilled within the context of an office visit.
Insurance companies frequently deny payment for certain non-formulary prescriptions. Our staff will make every effort to conduct a "prior authorization" on your behalf so that you can receive your medication. This process may take a few weeks. You are invited to inquire about the status of your "prior authorization" with us if your pharmacy refuses to dispense your medicine. An office visit maybe required to address "prior authorization" concerns.
All patients are encouraged to call us with any and all medical questions and concerns. Our receptionist will relay your message to the appropriate clinical staff. We will make every effort to return your call within a 48 hour period. Patients with any medical emergency should seek immediate medical attention by calling 911, going to a hospital Emergency Department, or coming to our office.
Co-pays and any other previous outstanding balances are due at the time of service. We participate with Medicare, SC Medicaid, NC Medicaid, Select Health, Blue Cross, and many other insurance plans. We also file with plans that we do not currently participate with. Our office offers CareCredit and individual payments plans for your convenience.
Please ask our staff in advance if you would like to know the cost of a service.
